3. Repurpose old clothes in one of the following ways…

  1. Have a dog?
    1. To turn old clothes into fun dog toys, you can cut the fabric into long strips and braid them together tightly. Tie knots at the ends to secure the braid and create a durable toy. This easy DIY project provides your dog with safe, chewable toys while repurposing old garments.
    2. Take a picture of your final product.
  2. Want a new bag?
    1. Watch this video on how to repurpose an old T Shirt. Make a no-sew T-shirt bag.
    2. *TIP from Yasmine: Don’t use a shirt that has a graphic image on it, or it will look weird.

  3. Need to wipe your face after eating?
    1. Create reusable cloth napkins from old shirts or fabric scraps by cutting the fabric into squares of your desired napkin size. It also offers a sustainable and stylish option for your dining needs.
    2. Take a picture of your final product.
  4. Need a hair scrunchie?
    1. Cut a fabric strip into a rectangle about 3 inches wide and 20 inches long. Fold the strip in half, sew the long edge, and turn it inside out. Thread a piece of elastic through the tube, sew the ends of the elastic together, and then close the fabric tube by sewing or gluing the ends.
